Music. Have you ever thought what life would be like without it? My friend Katie had a blog yesterday about how much she enjoyed it and how her father played an important role in that love. It started me thinking of how much it has played in my life. Have you ever been driving down the road and a song come on that just takes you back to a place and time in your life. Some may have been fun times with your friends, old boy friends (yuk), the loss of a loved one, a wedding, and the list just goes on. Here are a few of my memories:

The Rose (my wedding, grandmother's second wedding)

Space Cowboy (riding down the road with my friends)

Amazing Grace (going to church with my grandma, my grandma's funeral)

Eli's Coming (the birth of my grandson)

Anything by Kenny Chesney (my daughter)

Car Wash (dancing the night away with my friends)

Summer Breeze (finishing High School)

No Shirt No Shoes (Kayin singing every single word at age 4 maybe)

I am very thankful for all music. Just about every song links one person with a memory of some kind. Turn up the radio and think back .....
